Committee wants no real estate assessment for municipal golf course
Councillor says Shaganappi Golf Course is 'goose that laid golden egg'

Calgary’s priorities and finance committee wants to halt discussion of the potential redevelopment of the city-owned Shaganappi Point Golf Course. Coun. Evan Woolley said Shaganappi is the city’s most profitable golf course, suggesting, “Why don’t we look at (other properties) first before knee-capping the goose that lays the golden egg of our golf courses?”
