Cochrane High School could have new artificial field if all parties come on board with funding
Project estimated to cost $2.4 million
September 23, 2021 By Cochrane Times
A sports field situated in Cochrane, Alta.’s “tri-school” site could become a brand new, $2.4-million artificial playing surface by the fall of 2022 if all parties and backers come on board. An unnamed donor has offered $1.2 million to support the project, but it would require the other half of the funding to come from municipal sources. Such a field would allow Cochrane High School’s football team to play on a new field instead of having its “home” games played at Bow Valley High School.
