Clear cutting of trees for Hay River, NWT development plan frustrates neighbours

Clear cutting of trees to make way for a new housing development in Hay River, NWT has neighbours frustrated. They argue that green space in the community is becoming more and more scarce, and that most people will have to venture out of town to walk among the trees. There is also a fear in the community that the cleared space could remain dormant for a long period of time because the cost of building lots is apt to be unaffordable.
