City says occupation of Arrowdale Golf Course is illegal; matter turned over to police

The occupation of the former Arrowdale Golf Course in Brantford, Ont. by members of the Six Nations and city residents is illegal, the city claims, and the matter has been handed over to police. The municipal golf course closed after the city voted to put part of the property up for sale while keeping the remainder as parkland. The occupants of the property claim the land belongs to the Haldimand Tract and not the city.
