Chatham-Kent gives new direction for future municipal mowing responsibilities, aiming for consistency
Five-year tender package developed to start in 2023
June 1, 2022 By Turf & Rec
Municipal grass cutting in Chatham-Kent, Ont. has been steered onto a new path aimed at greater consistency. The municipality has ensured one single division will be responsible for all grass cutting on municipal land, and will see that Chatham-Kent develops a five-year tender package starting next year to coincide with this fall’s new council so that 2023 budget deliberations can allow successful bidders to hire the necessary staff and purchase needed equipment.
