Course had fallen into state of disrepair

A Calgary golf course that was seemingly down and out after having filed for bankruptcy not long ago has made an impressive comeback under its new ownership. Wingfield Golf Club, located next to the Calgary International Airport, fell into a state of disrepair for a while. But after reopening last year, the club has since turned things around under the direction of superintendent Bob Novecosky, who has restored course conditions to impressive standards.
