Bridge funding may be needed for artificial field

A new synthetic turf sports field slated to open in the fall at a St. Catharines, Ont. high school may need $100,000 in bridge financing if it is to open in time. St. Paul High School is one of eight schools within the Niagara Catholic school board system earmarked for an artificial playing surface over the next five years.
