Border-straddling Lloydminster stays shut down while nearby golf is opening
Lloydminster straddles Alberta and Saskatchewan borders

Lloydminster, a unique Canadian municipality that straddles the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, is remaining in lock-down mode while golf courses just outside city limits are welcoming golfers back. The city’s mayor said nothing within city limits is functioning, noting golf courses outside the city are not within its jurisdiction.
