Boot offers comfortable, waterproof foot stability for outdoor spring work

May 1, 2024  By Turf & Rec

Now that it’s spring, outdoor workers can begin wearing lighter footwear on the job without compromising stability or the need to keep feet dry and the ability for them to breathe. The Outscape Max Lace from the Muck Boot Company meets those needs and more. The high-performance, all-terrain boot features 100 per cent waterproof lace-up construction and speed hooks for rapid lacing. The Muckskin upper offers reduced weight without sacrificing elite protection. The midsole is built with BioLite, a high-level, lightweight foam, while the rubber outsole disperses debris and offers optimal traction in various terrain. Other features include a three-millimetre neoprene bootie and a bioDEWIX dry footbed insert topcover with NZYM for odour control and moisture management. Tested by Turf & Rec, the boots provided a comfortable fit that fully stabilized the foot, and the lightweight construction ensured hours of use without foot fatigue. Worn on dew-covered grass, feet remained bone dry.
