BMO Field head groundskeeper Robert Heggie said the natural turf surface fared well following Sunday’s Grey Cup game between the Ottawa Redblacks and Calgary Stampeders, adding one would never suspect a football game had ever been played. Goalposts have already been removed and the paint marking the lines for football have already been scrubbed clean to have the field in ready condition for Wednesday’s Major League Soccer playoff contest between the Toronto FC and Montreal Impact.
