Blue Jays assist Nelson baseball program with funding to upgrade ball diamond

Nelson Baseball is getting $117,000 from the Toronto Blue Jays’ Jays Care Foundation to spruce up its diamond at Queen Elizabeth Park in Fairview. The community of one of 12 recipients of the Jays’ Field of Dreams grants that amount to $1.1 million.
