Beauchamp joins team at Bayer Environmental Science

More than 35 years of experience in industry

Veteran golf superintendent and industry supplier Ryan Beauchamp has joined Bayer Environmental Science as territory sales manager for golf. He began in his new position Aug. 10.

Beauchamp brings more than 35 years of golf industry experience to his new role, including 20 years as golf course superintendent at St. Thomas Golf & Country Club and Glen Abbey Golf Course – two of the top 50 ranked courses in the country. He also has more than 10 years experience as a turf specialist, education and product marketing lead at Syngenta.

In his new role, he will combine his extensive industry experience with his passion of working in the field with golf superintendents and sales teams to provide agronomic, business and educational support.

“Ryan’s insight and understanding of the agronomic and professional needs of the golf industry is exceptional,” Tim Steen, Bayer Environmental Science golf sales manager, Canada, said. “He is recognized in the turf community as a key contributor and international lecturer. We are pleased to welcome Ryan to our team and look forward to working with him to offer customer support while delivering solutions and products to enhance their facilities.”

Throughout his career, Beauchamp has developed and delivered industry initiatives focused on superintendents and their entire team, providing support to assistants, mechanics, technicians and general managers.

“Using his proven, whole team approach and extensive experience with products, formulations, and application techniques, Ryan will bring a new suite of skills to the Bayer team,” Steen said.
