Baseball, soccer lighting upgrade project hits snag, throwing wrench into teams’ seasons
Hydro One must give approval prior to tendering
March 25, 2022 By Turf & Rec
Baseball and soccer teams in Puslinch, Ont. are apt to be inconvenienced from playing evening games for a while with the delay of two parks renovation projects. The replacement of lights at Old Morriston Park has hit a snag. The lights project was to go to tender in April with construction work to begin in May, but everything is contingent on Hydro One’s approval. The utility must give its approval before tendering begins. The existing lights at the park have been in place since the 1970s.
