
April 4, 2019 – A high school baseball coach’s decision to dry up wet spots on his diamond’s infield by dousing it with gasoline and setting it afire has led to a series of grim consequences. The coach has been placed on administrative leave for his actions, the field will have to be dug up to test for possible groundwater contamination and the team no longer has a home field to play on.
