Ball diamonds to be removed this spring to accommodate development at Alberta park

The cost to transform the Lac La Biche, Alta. Recreation Grounds and McArthur Park into a multipurpose leisure green space has increased substantially since it was first presented in 2021. The original cost estimate was $4.5 million, but that has since jumped to $7.3 million. The ball diamonds at McArthur Park are to be removed this spring to accommodate the new development.
