B.C. Place donates its former artificial turf surface to flood-destroyed Abbotsford ball club

Now that B.C. Place in Vancouver has brand new FieldTurf laid down, its former artificial turf surface will be getting a new life without having to go to a landfill. Its quality is still considered good. Among the organizations to benefit from the older turf is the Abbotsford Cardinals baseball team, whose facility was destroyed during British Columbia’s massive fall floods. Other organizations will also benefit from B.C. Place’s donation of its former synthetic surface. To watch a Global News video report, click here.
