Autonomous line painter staying straight on target on UBC’s sports fields

Robby the robot is painting a straight line at the University of British Columbia’s athletic fields. Guided by GPS, the autonomous machine is painting precision lines on the fields. UBC says the machine is the first of its kind in Canada and can do in an hour what it previously took up to a full day with several people.
