Artificial fields expected to generate new interest in high school sports

Sept. 29, 2018 – Three new artificial turf sports fields are under construction at high schools in the Niagara region, adding to five others in the district that have opened in just the past couple of years. School officials believe the fields will generate new interest in sports among high school athletes and will bring the communities together to support their local teams.
