Advocate ‘cautiously optimistic’ N.S.’s new PC government will prevent golf project
Proposal to build golf resort on Crown land
September 27, 2021 By HalifaxToday.ca

An advocate for the Owls Head Provincial Park, located on Crown land in Nova Scotia, says he’s “cautiously optimistic” that the province’s newly elected Progressive Conservative government will protect the property from development. A golf course resort had been planned in 2019 for the property in Little Harbour. The advocate for Owls Head said the property is an important public resource that needs to remain public and protected.
