$50M soccer stadium too costly for Mississauga unless there is funding: mayor

Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie says the construction of a $50-million soccer stadium in the city is too costly a venture if the right funding can’t be found. A lack of sufficient funding would put other more prominent infrastructure needs in jeopardy, she said. If sufficiently funded, she added, it would be a great venue for the city.
